This week we shot on Mt. Hood and in cinematic Hood River. Despite the hours spent in the rain and snow, the backdrops were inspiring. As convenient and comfortable as it is to shoot in the studio, I really love to get outside!

I won’t find out on this trip, though, because we are busy busy busy working! The crazy suitcase airport sculpture was a pretty cool sight to see, though. We’ve been spending our time in hospitals all week photographing actual doctors and employees as models for print, it’s nice to hang with everyday folk on set and show them the ropes. I also had a great time with the LA crew. I’m hoping that I’ll see a lot more of them in the coming months. Such great and professional people to work with that it kind of feels almost vacation-like.

Cowboys, clean air, pastoral views. We trekked around a massive farm shooting a catalog from sun up to sun down, the weather couldn’t have been more beautiful. I had the pleasure of working with a great crew from Boston and LA. The lambs were just as nice, even though being born yesterday, they weren’t really in need of my make-up expertise.  Such a beautiful day, can’t wait for tomorrow!
