Skateboarding, rollerskating, ice skating; today was all about fun! Had a great time watching the kids whiz by me while my un-wheeled feet were planted firmly on the ground. Trust me, it was for the best! Although, it may have made chasing them down for touch ups a bit more slapstick.
Despite the fact that I was the polar opposite of a cheerleader when I was in high school a thousand years ago, I had such a blast on this project. I loved learning all of the specific hair and make-up rules of the cheerleading world, as well as, how to shake a pom pom properly!
Well, Sacramento could be a lovely city to visit. I won’t find out on this trip, though, because we are busy busy busy working! The crazy suitcase airport sculpture was a pretty cool sight to see, though. We’ve been spending our time in hospitals all week photographing actual doctors and employees as models for print, it’s nice to hang with everyday folk on set and show them the ropes. I also had a great time with the LA crew. I’m hoping that I’ll see a lot more of them in the coming months. Such great and professional people to work with that it kind of feels almost vacation-like.
Hats, hats and more hats. Apparently, being around that many of them can make you a little nutso! Oh yes, I’ll blame the hats.
